Gordon Hendricks – The Ultimate Elvis Tribute. In aid of Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

 

Some friends of mine recently put on a music event to raise money for the Neurosurgery department at the Birmingham Children’s Hospital.

 

Performing live at Tally Ho! Gordon Hendricks and his band are the only Elvis tribute act endorsed by the Graceland Estate and Priscilla Presley, herself. That’s some accolade considering there must be thousands of Elvis impersonators at around the globe.

 

With live music, competitions to win donated prizes and a whole lot of screaming ladies, the event was a great success. We’re still waiting on a final figure of funds raised but there were some generous punters on the evening.

 

I was asked to be the event photographer and shoot some portraits of guests with the King himself along with a few images throughout the evening. I had a blast!
