IAN THEN
“I had a great experience in London, working with some talented photographers and their teams on some exciting projects. However, while I was producing my ‘Brum Creatives’ portrait project in 2014, It was then that I realised just how much I missed Birmingham. When I got the opportunity to move back and into my own 2,500 ft studio space, it was a no brainer.” www.iandaviesphoto.com/studio

Inspiration
Music makes Ian happy. Although often restless, he can watch a full box set in one day. He surrounds himself with bright and bold imagery and loves the visual work of Miles Aldridge, Ryan McGinley, Ellen Von Unwerth, Alex Garrant and Bridget Riley.
Now living in Worcestershire, he’s slipping into middle age with ease while still keeping a work space in Brum. He is neurodivergent, loves his dog Bertie and is a proud advocate of the Brummie accent.
